Background
David is an associate lawyer at Fernandes Hearn LLP.
David's previous employment was with an international staffing company
where he was acting as a corporate counsel and was in charge of
reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts.
In addition to being fluent in both French and English,
David received his call to the Law Society of Upper Canada in 2011
and the Quebec Bar in 2010.
David articled in a mid-size firm located in Montreal
in 2010 where he gained experience in commercial litigation, bankruptcy
and corporate law.
David attended law school and business school through
a dual program at University of Sherbrooke in Quebec where he received
a Civil Law (LL.B) and a Master in Business Administration (M.B.A.)
in 2008. Throughout an exchange program, David also attended Queen's
University where he received a Common Law degree (J.D.) in 2009.
