Background
Kim has a broad litigation practice with a focus on
transportation law, including aviation, trucking, rail and marine
law. She also provides opinions on insurance policies, contracts,
and coverage disputes. Kim represents clients in North America and
overseas and practices in the provincial courts of Ontario, Alberta,
British Columbia, and in the Federal Court of Canada.
Kim attended law school at Queen's University and
received her J.D. in 2008. While at Queen's, Kim participated with
success in various international law moot competitions and obtained
a Certificate in Public International Law in 2006 from the International
Study Centre in Herstmonceux, U.K.
Kim also holds a Bachelor of Commerce, with Distinction,
from the University of Calgary's Haskayne School of Business where
she focused her studies on international business, risk management
and insurance, and finance.
