Background

Ms. Stoll's insurance litigation practice covers all aspects of insurance defence including fire, property and casualty liability defence and products liability work as well as those matters involving coverage issues, policy interpretation, excess insurance and subrogation. Ms. Stoll's practice also includes marine and transportation litigation as well as food and water safety litigation. She also has extensive experience with mediation.

Ms. Stoll is the Vice President of the Canadian Transport Lawyers Association having previously held the position of Treasurer and Ontario Director. She is proud of her work with this vibrant association. Ms. Stoll is also a member of the Transport Lawyers Association.

Ms. Stoll returned to private practice in September 2001 when she joined Fernandes Hearn LLP as a senior litigation associate. Ms. Stoll had spent the previous ten years as senior in-house litigation counsel with The Hartford Canada where she handled a full caseload of files to conclusion in all areas of property and casualty insurance as well as monitoring and instructing outside counsel on the insurer's behalf.
