Summer Students
We provide our summer students with as thorough an
exposure to the practice of law as the summer months allow. Your
work will be similar to that of an articling student. We will arrange
for you to work with as many lawyers in as many areas as possible
or we will help you focus on your specific areas of interest. You
will be exposed to both corporate and litigation work. You will
have an opportunity to meet clients and to sit in on client interviews,
participate in the analysis of the problems faced by the client,
and the development of paths to solutions. In litigation, you will
have an opportunity to draft pleadings, attend examinations for
discovery, mediations and trials. Your salary will be competitive
with downtown Toronto firms.
